About Us

Teach-Mentor-Inspire is a non profit organization that transforms elementary through high school students into future leaders, musicians and confident entrepreneurs through mentoring and education. We engage youth and young adults as leaders through a variety of academic and enrichment programs that increase self-awareness, encourage creativity, and develop leadership skills. We know that at-risk youth who are mentored are 55% more likely to enroll in college and 78% more likely to volunteer in their community.

Project TMI is focused on creating opportunities for young people of color to succeed in life and ultimately change their communities. Access to good education, solid mentors, and economic opportunities are the keys to reducing high school dropout rates, lowering crime, and ultimately eliminating poverty in underserved communities.

We believe that every child is born with an entrepreneurial spirit that needs to be fostered through leadership training, activities that build self-esteem and teamwork. Our program teaches students how to generate business ideas, conduct market research, write business plans, create budgets, and pitch ideas to investors all while developing self-esteem and leadership skills. Project TMI students will learn how to develop a real business using a fun, project-based approach.

Project TMI's parent organization is BeHeard.world, a Boston based nonprofit dedicated to uplifting cultural pride and social justice through the performing arts.
Our Team
Teach - Mentor - Inspire is proud to boast a diverse, dynamic staff of highly passionate and dedicated professionals who hail from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines.
