Project Teach Mentor Inspire (TMI) is a Boston Public School Partner that provides summer
music and arts enrichment to students enrolled in Boston Public Summer Academic and STEM programs.
Class offerings are accessible to students in grades 1-8, with options both in person and
virtually. Classes are taught by trained music and arts educators employed by Project TMI.
Music and Arts concentrations include general music, musical theater, dance,
photography, video/film production, and music specialties in jazz, musical instruments, and voice.
Students are introduced to entry level musical concepts, participate in music appreciation, learn multilingual, multi-genre musical repertoire, and explore other artistic mediums such as photography, dance, and media production.
Our objective is to empower students enrolled in summer programming through quality music and
arts instruction during the summer months. Our hope is that students will feel emotionally supported while retaining essential listening, team building, and self-disciplinary skills that they can carry with them as their education progresses, as well as a lifelong love of music and the arts.
